PAYMENT
Waewae Pounamu accepts Master Card, Visa, and Visa Debit. All information submitted to ngaitahupounamu.com is processed and stored using secure socket layer (SSL) software. SSL encrypts all your personal information so that it cannot be read as the information travels on the Internet.
SHIPPING RATES
All shipping rates are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD). They include insurance, packaging & handling, and postage.

International
All items are sent via tracked international courier with DHL and take 5-10 Working Days
Zone A: Australia - International Courier $35.00
Zone B: South Pacific - International Courier $55.00
Zone C: East Asia & North America - International Courier $55.00
Zone D: UK & Europe - International Courier $55.00
Zone E: Rest of World - International Courier $55.00
Important note for international orders:
You may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by your country or other overseas authority once a shipment reaches your country. We are not responsible for these costs and they are not included in the shipping cost.
You may also be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. You should contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties, taxes, restrictions and fees.
DISPATCH
Orders are dispatched from Waewae Pounamu during normal New Zealand business hours 9:00am – 3:00pm. Products are received if accepted by a person at your nominated delivery address. Insurance only covers the delivery of the item to this nominated address. Shipping details must include a street address and daytime telephone number. Your order cannot be dispatched if these details are missing.
Waewae Pounamu reserves the right to limit quantities and may discontinue accepting orders at any time.
Waewae Pounamu reserves the right to accept or reject orders in any combination of products(s), whatever it determines to be in its best interest.
NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY
Orders within New Zealand are 1-5 day delivery unless the purchase is made on a Friday. In this case the order will be delivered the next business day; the following Monday.
NZ Couriers is the default delivery company. All domestic orders are tracked and traced.
All orders placed within New Zealand, and or for delivery within New Zealand will include a Goods and Services Tax of 15%.
SIGNATURE REQUIRED
For all orders, a signature will be required upon receipt of the goods. This is mandatory in order for the parcels insurance. Because of this, it is always a good idea to get your order shipped to a work address where its likelier there is someone you know to sign for the order on your behalf.
* Orders will not be processed on Saturdays, Sundays or National public holidays. They will be processed and sent on the next business day.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email Waewae Pounamu Operations Manager amanda.downs@ngaitahu.iwi.nz within 5 working days on receipt of goods. We are more than happy to offer an exchange of equivalent value. Please return the goods together with your receipt within 30 days of receipt. Delivery and handling charges are not refundable.
We don't not hold any responsibility for any item/items damaged or broken after you have received your order. We are only held accountable if your item/items are damaged or broken in transit.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you return your order with an insured mail service and keep the receipt for your records.
Waewae Pounamu is not responsible for lost return shipments.
